Deleting Account Data

At Capturit, we prioritise your privacy and offer you the option to delete your account and personal data. This option is exclusively available through the Capturit app. Please follow the steps outlined below to delete your data.

If you are wanting to delete your account data, but you have forgotten your password, there are additional steps provided to help you reset it before proceeding with the data deletion process on the Capturit app.

How to Delete Your Account Data

  • 1. Open the Capturit app, and login to your account you are wanting to delete.
  • 2. In the top right, click menu, the click 'Account Settings'.
  • 3. Click 'Delete Account'.
  • 4. Confirm your choice to delete your account.

Please note that this action is irreversible and will permanently delete all your data, including photos and personal information.

If You Have Forgotten Your Password

  • 1. Open the Capturit app's login screen, and tap 'Forgot Password.'
  • 2. Enter the email address associated with your Capturit account.You will receive an email with instructions on how to reset your password.
  • 3. Follow the link in the email to reset your password. Choose a new password and use it to log in to your account.
  • 4. Once logged in, in the top right, click menu, the click 'Account Settings'.
  • 5. Click 'Delete Account'.
  • 6. Confirm your choice to delete your account.

Please note that this action is irreversible and will permanently delete all your data, including photos and personal information.

After deleting your Capturit account, please note that it takes 30 days for the process to complete, during which your account and data are not accessible to others but are still subject to our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. Once the 30-day period ends, your account and all associated information will be permanently deleted and cannot be recovered. It may take up to 90 days to fully complete the deletion process. Copies of your content may remain in backup storage systems used for recovery in case of disasters, software errors, or data loss.
