If a child is in immediate danger
Call 000 in Australia, or your local police. Then report it in the app and email us.
About Capturit
Capturit is a private, event-based photo and video sharing app for Android and iPhone. Guests at an event add their photos and videos to one shared album and can chat with each other. Capturit is a business name of Scott Hutcheson (ABN 13 859 501 565), New South Wales, Australia.
These standards apply everywhere in Capturit: public and private events, albums, captions, comments, chats and profiles. They're part of our Terms.
What isn't allowed
We prohibit all child sexual abuse and exploitation. That includes:
- child sexual abuse material (CSAM) in any form, whether real, drawn, edited or computer-generated
- sexualising anyone under 18 in media, captions, comments, messages or profiles
- grooming: building trust with a child to sexually abuse or exploit them, online or offline
- sexual extortion (sextortion), or pressuring anyone under 18 for sexual images
- arranging to meet a child for sexual purposes, or child trafficking
- sharing, asking for, or linking to any of the above
Who can use Capturit
Capturit is for people 16 and over. We ask for your date of birth when you sign up, and we don't create accounts for anyone under 16. If we find out an account belongs to someone under 16, we delete it.

Email support@capturit.app with "Child safety" in the subject. Include the username, the event's name and what you saw. Please don't send us the images themselves.
What we do
- Straight away: anything reported for child safety is hidden from everyone as soon as it's reported, and we're alerted immediately.
- Review: child safety reports are reviewed before anything else.
- Removal: when we find CSAE, we remove the content and permanently ban the account responsible.
- Reporting to authorities: we report child sexual abuse material and exploitation to the Australian Centre to Counter Child Exploitation (ACCCE), and to police where a child may be at risk.
- Working with law enforcement: we keep the account details and records an investigation needs, follow the ACCCE's guidance, and respond to lawful requests from police and regulators.
