Is Capturit free?
Yes. Capturit is free for couples and guests on iPhone and Android.
Do our guests need the app?
Yes. To join your wedding and add photos and videos, guests need the free Capturit app and an account. Your invite link or QR code opens the event in the app, or points them to the store if they don't have it yet. Putting the QR code on table cards makes it easy for everyone on the day.
Can my partner help run the wedding album?
Yes. Add your partner as a co-host, along with anyone else helping out, like the best man or maid of honour. Co-hosts can edit the event, add guests and look after the album. An event can have up to 10.
Can people who weren't invited see our photos?
Not if your event is private. Only people in the event can see its album, guest list and chat. Turn on Approve new guests to let people in yourselves.
Can we hide the photos until after the wedding?
Yes. Media Reveal lets you choose when everyone's photos and videos appear: as they're added, after the event ends, or at a time you pick. Until then, everyone sees only their own, like a disposable camera.
Can we save all the photos and videos?
Yes. Press and hold one in the album, tap Select all, then Share and Save to mobile. You can also save them one at a time.
Can we use it for the engagement party too?
Yes. Create a separate event for each one, so the engagement party, the hens and bucks and the wedding each get their own album and chat.
